Amrita Puri started her career at not so young age but yet she was able to impress audience and critics of India. Before entering the film Industry Amrita focused on her graduation. After graduating she did Theater and even wrote screen plays. After spending a year in theater she went on to try for films and modelling projects. She auditioned for several films but her first film came in 2010 ‘Aisha’. Starring Sonam Kapoor and Abhay deol the film was cited as India’s first chick flick. The film was a disaster at box office but still Amrita gained rave reviews with critics citing her as the only relief in the film. This positive review led her to get more roles in the film industry. She got her first lead role in 2012 film Blood Money. The film was also flop at box office but yet once again Amrita impressed critics. 2013 was a successful year for Amrita puri as she starred in Kai Po Che which went on to become one the biggest critical hit of the year.
